OBJECTIVES
The City of Richmond is currently seeking community input about how to best use the land at Point Molate for the benefit of all. The three month Point Molate Community Visioning process aims to:
Engage the community in a transparent and inclusive process to understand how Point Molate can best serve the community of Richmond for decades to come
Understand community needs, concerns, and priorities related to Point Molate
Develop a community vision that will inform the future use of the property

COMMUNITY VISIONING PROCESS
There will be many opportunities to provide input throughout the process, both online and in person. Please check the Engagement Opportunities list in the right column for upcoming events!
The goal of the Point Molate Community Visioning process is to collect community input on possible future uses for Point Molate through inclusive, representative, and collaborative engagement opportunities. The result will be a Community Vision Document, preferred concept and guiding framework. This will be the document that guides future development for Point Molate and will be included in the developer Request for Qualifications (RFQ) and subsequent Request for Proposals (RFP). City Council will ultimately select 2 - 3 finalists (from the RFQ) and the final plan (from the RFP).
